P.A.I.N. (Prescription Addiction Intervention Now) is an activist group founded by artist Nan Goldin and her colleagues in response to the opioid crisis. They are committed to holding the Sacklers and Purdue Pharma accountable for their role in America's opioid epidemic. P.A.I.N. puts pressure on museums, art spaces and educational institutions to refuse future donations from the Sacklers and insists they put their resources into funding treatment and education, and correcting the widespread misinformation regarding opioids.
